TWITTER REVIEW Alright I did another one... Okay so as you may or may not know ya girl has been on Twitter reading a lot of AU's over there. And well FUCK I just IDK anyway this one caught my attention it's done by the lovely @hoseokarity It's one of many and it's a #JIKOOK one for those shippers out there.
Okay so the actual review which is either why you are here or not I have no idea anymore why people come here but alas I love you all so here we are (thank you Bestie and MOM)
Review:
Where do I start with this one... First off we have all your characters from BTS however, the main characters are Jimin and Jungkook who are the main focus. We start off with Jimin being a "shy and timid" he is scared of motor cycles and big guys with tattoos. Enter Jungkook who is racer of bikes and has tats in this one...
These are the images that we are given at the beginning and then as you know by now the story is collectively told through text messages and tweets. The difference is this author also gives us some written background.
What I enjoy about this story is we watch Jimin come into his own. He learns to try new things and embrace who he wants to be and becomes comfortable in his own skin. We learn how his family is portrayed in the media isn't always accurate. Jungkook also grows and learns that he has value. He is always pushing Jimin to try new things but never to harm him or so much that Jimin is scared. When he is scared of loud noises Jungkook never has his bike on near him. He never forces anything on Jimin or pushes him further than he is ready.
I love how stereotypes are broken in this fic and every moves at their own pace yet they all grow and mature. I also adore that Jungkook never really gets jealous or toxic in anyway and completely supports Jimin. Even when Jimin gets insecure he supports him and tries to protect him 100% and Jimin admits when he is wrong. Mind you after scary stuff happens but still he admits it.
Overall this is a very sweet story that I literally took the WHOLE DAMN DAY to read because it was so good.
Seriously if you enjoy reading social media AUs then go forth and read this JiKook twitter one it is totally worth your time!
